Action performed by either parent who consciously or unconsciously prevents the development and acquisition of his/her child’s mental independence. Children are actually virgin worlds, so they are easily manipulatable. Through imprinting, any parent or adult can decide to lead them towards self-sufficiency or to keep them in a state of subjugation. A parent who is also a controlledperson cannot lead his/her kids towards mental independence. A parent who is mentally free and is not a manipulator can peacefully lead his/her kids towards knowledge of the world and mental independence.
